How to Order

You can apply for an extension of the Due Date or payments by instalment over a period up to, but not exceeding, 5 years.

Time to pay is not granted as a right. A Court Registrar will decide whether or not your request is granted.

You must apply before the Due Date or a $100 enforcement fee will be added.

You will need to undergo an assessment of your means and assets to determine your ability to pay. You may be required to make an initial payment.

If you are assessed by the Court as being unable to pay the outstanding amount within a 5 year period, a judge will need to consider your case and you may be summonsed to appear at a Court hearing.
